Association of Friends of Ensemble Aventure

The Association of Friends of Ensemble Aventure was founded in September 2001 to promote contemporary music. The founding members were Dr Gustav Schneider and the then Rector of the Freiburg University of Music, Prof Johann Georg Schaarschmidt.

The Ensemble Aventure concert series, which has long been an integral part of Freiburg's musical life and the nucleus of the ensemble's international concert activities, still takes place in the rooms of the Elisabeth Schneider Foundation. This concert series is co-organised and supported by the Association of Friends of Ensemble Aventure. The association plays an important role in funding programmes for contemporary music such as the Baden-Württemberg Art Innovation Fund. Projects on current topics developed by Ensemble Aventure and approved by the Innovation Fund are launched and supported by the association.

Members of the association enjoy exclusive insights into the ensemble's programme, are invited to attend rehearsals and receive new CDs from the ensemble. Become a member and meet like-minded people at exciting concerts with new music and stimulating conversations over wine during breaks!

According to the statutes, membership runs from 1 September to 31 August of the following year and can be cancelled in writing with two months' notice to 31 August. The membership fee is 60 euros per year (partners 40 euros).
